​Why Healthy Pets?

I had practiced conventional medicine only for a couple of years before I started to recognize its shortfalls when dealing with chronic and inflammatory diseases of companion animals. Early in my career I pursued training in acupuncture, nutrition, and other modalities that aim at correcting the imbalance between pets internal and external environment as it manifests during a disease process. After years of providing care to thousands of companion pets and consulting pet owners, I began to form a vision for my "dream" facility. This vision of exercising holistic or alternative treatment modalities such as acupuncture, diet and nutrition, and herbals with access to technology and equipment used in conventional medicine is Healthy Pets.

Another reason for Healthy Pets is that I wanted to practice close to home and be a part of the community I live in. I recognized that West Portal has been without a veterinary service for a long time, yet I know that there are a lot of dogs and cats living in this area. Many of them are my patients at Coastal Holistic, and their owners were always telling me how nice it would be to have an integrative veterinary practitioner in San Francisco.

I am looking forward to offering medical and surgical services in my new hospital, I would like it to become a place where my clients expect and receive the best available veterinary medical care for their companions, and where the pets feel at ease despite being away from their familiar environment or not feeling well.
